Dispute Resolution – Pitchshift
Learn how Pitchshift handles disputes between buyers and sellers. Our fair and transparent process protects both parties on every transaction.
How Dispute Resolution Works
Most transaction problems are resolved directly between buyers and sellers. If you have an issue, your first step is always to contact the other party through the order messaging system. The majority of cases close without needing formal escalation.
If direct contact does not resolve the issue within 48 hours, either party can open a formal dispute from the order detail page. Opening a dispute pauses any automatic fund release until the case is closed.
The Review Process
Once a dispute is opened, both parties are notified and given 72 hours to submit their evidence — photographs, tracking records, original listing descriptions, and any relevant communications.
Pitchshift support reviews all submitted evidence and makes a determination within 5 business days. Both parties are notified of the outcome and, where a refund is issued, the funds are returned within 3–5 business days after the item is returned.
What We Can and Cannot Cover
Disputes are eligible when an item was significantly not as described, never arrived, or was materially damaged in transit due to inadequate packing. We cannot cover buyer's remorse, preference changes, or damage caused after delivery.
Buyers and sellers who act in good faith — responding promptly, providing accurate evidence, and cooperating with the review process — receive the fastest resolutions.
