Marketplace Role
Pitchshift connects buyers and sellers of musical instruments and equipment. The contract of sale is formed directly between the buyer and the seller; the platform provides the venue, payment processing, escrow-style holds, and dispute tooling.
Payments, Disputes, and Payouts
Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal, with funds held until delivery is confirmed or the delivery window elapses. Buyers can open disputes for items that arrive damaged, not as described, or not at all. Sellers receive payouts to their connected account after completing identity verification.
